10 Down, 2 To Go! | The BIG Truck Giveaway Episode 10

It feels like just yesterday that Millie and Ruby pulled up at Chassis Cab ready to sign the paperwork and bring the DAF back to Kuda, yet somehow, here we are at episode 10 with just two more episodes to go! After the team added some in-cab accessories in the last episode, we wanted to add a few more based on our viewers comments to make it that extra bit more comfortable..

Choosing Our Accessories:

It was also determined that some lights might be useful for the CabStore locker that we fitted in the previous episode, so the girls picked out our CabStore interior lighting package.

Having chosen these three accessories, it was time to bring in the fitters for the final time (they were probably very thankful for this!)

First up, Will fitted the Indel B under bunk Drawer Fridge. These fridges are absolutely fantastic to save space in your cab, as they fit perfectly inside your existing factory fitted drawers. This way, you can keep all your drinks and snacks cool without having to find a place to store a cool box or portable fridge. With a TruckChef microwave on board, we though that additional fridge space was absolutely essential for our winner; they'll have ample room to store everything they need to make delicious meals right from their cab!

The LUXMOV Smart TV is packed with smart features, a range of streaming apps, and even an aerial to connect to regular TV channels. We wanted to ensure our winner will never miss their favourite shows when they're out on the road, and we think this will be the perfect addition to help them truly unwind in the evenings!

We absolutely love the addition of our LUXMOV TV and hope our winner will enjoy using it when parked up and relaxing.

Adding Locker Lights:

With this completed, it was finally a wrap for our fitters for this series! We just want to take the time to thank each and every one of them for their continuous efforts towards the project - with how busy they are, we are so appreciative of the time they took to work on our giveaway DAF; without them, this series wouldn't have been possible. 

A massive thank you to Will, Dale, Connor, Kieran, James and Sam: you've all been brilliant!

For this task, we enlisted the help of Olly - one of our CAD engineers. Olly was able to create, print, and laminate a speech bubble style and then fit the sticker on the back of the cab with ease!

Time To Vote:

For the 10th and final time, Millie and Ruby rounded out the episode by asking viewers to vote for what happens next... but this time, with a twist! Next episode, the girls will be adding some final touches to the truck all by themselves, but then they're going to test it out! This episode, viewers can choose between:

A) Millie and Ruby cook dinner in the DAF, using the TruckChef microwave.

B) Millie and Ruby sleep in the truck overnight.

C) With the help of Tom, Millie and Ruby take the truck through a fast food drive through.

As always, we cant wait to see what our viewers choose! Millie and Ruby are nervous about this one, but whatever wins, it's bound to be hilarious!
