This Is Getting SERIOUS! | The Big Truck Giveaway Episode 5

We’ve just released episode 5 of The BIG Truck Giveaway over on our YouTube channel, and what an episode it was! The team were super excited to find out the results of our polls and fit the winning wheel trims. Option B- American- won this time: a great choice from our viewers!

Indel B Oblo 1600:

First, however, we wanted to throw in another surprise - we were going to fit a brand new cab cooler to replace the old one! And not just any old cab cooler - the Indel B Oblo 1600! Thanks to this fantastic appliance, whoever wins this truck will be able to stay cool whether the engine is on or off - perfect for warm summer nights! We want to say a massive thank you to Indel B for their support on this project, and we know our winner will really appreciate this addition!

The Oblo 1600 was fitted by Dale, one of our most experienced fitters here at Kuda. We think he did a fantastic job, and the results look great!

The Oblo 1600 doesn't only look great but will be a great addition for our driver and will keep the cool when driving and when parked up with the engine turned off (we have certainly enjoyed using it on those warmer days!)

Fitting The Wheel Trims:

Once the cab cooler was installed, it was time to fit the wheel trims,  but it wasn't going to be our fitting team on the job this time - it was going to be Millie and Ruby! Of course, they couldn’t do this alone, and Connor was on hand throughout to guide them through the process and check that their work was correct.  The girls were very nervous to take on their biggest task yet, especially once they discovered how heavy the equipment was. With a little help from Connor, however, it wasn’t long before the old trims were off...

...but putting the new trims on wasn’t so simple! Deciding which bolts needed  to be removed or kept proved difficult, and the girls were very conscious about not taking the full wheels off! When fitting the rear liners, a mistake was made… Ruby put the bolts back on upside down! How she managed to do this, we don't know, but thankfully Connor was there to correct her and help her out in putting them on the right way around.

Time To Vote:

With that, it was time once again to give the customers the chance to vote! Next episode, we will be adding a sun visor, some mud flaps, and some grill lights to the truck, and it's up to our customers to choose which arrangement they'd prefer for the lights! The lights being used are all by Strands Lighting Division, utilising strobe lights and slim position lights from their stunning Dark Knight range! The design options are as follows:

C) 'Row' Design
