The RM6AMPS2T-MET drill base mount is part of Arkon’s Robust Mount Series and mounts to walls or other solid flat surfaces with a metal 4-Hole AMPS base. It holds all smartphones (even with cases) up to 7.5” tall, including;

This mount includes a heavy-duty mount with Metal 4-Hole AMPS Base and Slim-Grip Ultra universal smartphone and midsize tablet holder. The spring-loaded holder includes eight support legs (4 short and 4 longer versions) that slide onto the top and bottom of the holder to ensure the right fit for your phone or tablet and keep side buttons and ports unobstructed. 

The mount uses the 4-Hole AMPS mounting pattern, which consists of four holes located in a rectangular pattern spaced at 30.17mm x 38.05mm (measured as the center-to-center distance between holes). The tough, low-vibration pedestal measures approximately 4.5 inches high from the bottom of the metal AMPS base to the top of the pedestal (not including the holder) and is made of plastic and nylon. The pedestal swivels on both the top and the bottom, providing 360-degree rotation and flexibility in positioning the device at any angle. 

The mount can also be screwed directly into the floor of your vehicle. (Warning: Drilling into the vehicle’s floor may damage the vehicle. Use caution and consult a mobile install professional to avoid drilling into any sensitive vehicle components.)
