The BIG Truck Giveaway is BACK!

In December last year, we concluded our BIG Truck Giveaway series on YouTube; 12 episodes, 1 truck, 1 winner. Once our DAF had been collected by our winner- Nick Wheeler- we started to miss the truck and all the fun we had working on it. The BIG Truck Giveaway really brought the team together and gave Millie and Ruby a new insight into what our fitters get up to on a daily basis. We loved having the ongoing project to work on throughout the year and thoroughly enjoyed collaborating with our subscribers.

So, we thought to ourselves… what if we just… did it all again?

Those of you with a sharp eye might have noticed us dropping some hints across our social media recently, but it's now official: welcome to The Big Truck Giveaway 2- Renault Edition!

Plans were quickly set into motion, and before we knew it, the team were heading up to Bedworth to visit Renault Trucks UK and pick up our new giveaway truck! This time, we wanted to go for something completely different, and chose a sleek blue Renault T-Range. Millie and Ruby- of course- went along for the ride, but they couldn’t make the journey without roping in Tom to drive the truck back to Kuda HQ. The three made a road trip out of it- stopping for food along the way, of course- and were up in Warwickshire by late morning.

When the team arrived at Renault, they were greeted by Chris, who told them everything they needed to knowabout the vehicle. He was excited to hear that we would be giving the truck the full Kuda treatment and adding some amazing accessories; he even took his own ‘before’ photo so that he could compare it to the finished product.

Upon seeing the truck, the team knew they’d made the perfect choice, particularly with the colour. Our DAF had been silver, and we thought that by choosing blue, finding accessories to complement the colour scheme would be a fun challenge. This was very important, as this time, Millie and Ruby would be doing more than just helping out- they would be in charge of styling the entire truck!

Last series, we let our customers have full control over what happened to the DAF, but with the Renault, Millie and Ruby will be taking ownership and making important decisions in every step of the process. Don’t worry though, there will still be plenty of opportunities to get input from our viewers- the girls don’t know all too much about trucks after all, and will need you to guide them!

After the team fully checked out the truck (now lovingly named 'Rory'), Chris handed over the keys, and Tom headed out on the road back to Kuda. Already, he could see the potential of this truck, enjoying the spacious cab and comfortable seating. I think it’s fair to say that the whole team were already imagining all the possibilities that we could make a reality. Once back at Kuda HQ, Millie and Ruby filmed a full truck tour, showing off what our viewers could win.

This time, we have 10 episodes, but still only 1 truck and 1 lucky winner. Like last time, viewers must be subscribed to be in with a chance of winning, or their entries will not be counted. As we’ve mentioned, this time it’s up to Millie and Ruby to figure out what to do with the truck, but that doesn’t mean they won’t need your help!

The first episode is now live, and the girls don’t know where to start with customising this truck.
