The perfect solution for quick and easy access for 6KG or 9KG fire extinguisher storage on your truck. This top loading box is made from super durable materials and is fully approved for use on or in motor vehicles.

This box has a footprint making it perfect for mounting in-between the wheel arches of some 6x2 tractor units while not impeding the trailer coupling or any other chassis parts. The box is supplied as a unit with no additional fixing kit. Customers are suggested to bolt through the box and secure with their own means. It is the responsibility of the customer to check all trailer coupling heights and ensure the box does not obstruct this.

We have fitted this box to a Mercedes Actros 6x2 chassis to provided the pictures above and verified on this installation the positioning and heights.

The box will accept both a 6KG extinguisher with a max. diameter of up to 180 mm & max. height of 590 mm and also a 9KG fire extinguisher where the plastic bottom can be removed to ensure it meets the footprint mentioned for the 6KG. The 9KG extinguisher we supply can be fitted to this box with the mentioned modification and can be purchased here.
