The phone holder’s solid construction provides strength and reliability on the road by featuring a spring-loaded mechanism that expands to securely grip smartphones up to 4 inches wide. Arkon recommends using the RoadVise Holder with smartphones with skins and ruggedized cases. The RoadVise is designed to use two hands to install and remove your device.
This is to make sure your device cannot be accidentally removed while adjusting viewing angle. The low-profile cell phone holder keeps rear smartphone cameras free for spontaneous pictures or videos. Just snap the holder onto the 17mm ball of the pedestal and use the included tightening ring to secure. The AMPS pattern consists of four holes located in a rectangular pattern spaced at 30.17mm x 38.05mm (measured as the center-to-center distance between holes). This tough, low-vibration pedestal measures 6.5 inches high and is made of a combination of plastic and glass fiber.
The arm of the pedestal swivels on both the top and the bottom, providing 360-degree rotation and the ultimate flexibility in positioning the smartphone at any angle.
The iPhone mount can also be screwed directly into the floor of your vehicle. (Warning: Drilling into the vehicle’s floor may damage the vehicle. Use caution and consult a mobile install professional to avoid drilling into any sensitive vehicle components.)
Garmin GPS devices can also be mounted by simply removing the holder and revealing the 17mm ball mount base. It’s a solid car mount solution that’s perfect for your needs.
