The Mix Stowmarket have proudly welcomed a new commercial partner to their network of local support. Kuda Automotive, a leading UK manufacturer and supplier of commercial vehicle aerodynamics and accessories, based just outside Stowmarket have made a long-term financial commitment to support The Mix’s programme of activities and clubs for young people.
This includes upgrading the range of equipment available for young people to use within their youth hall and outside area, for after school and school holiday Drop-in sessions. After a long period of disruptive closures due to the pandemic, this funding also enables The Mix to further expand their programme of enriching activities, providing more opportunities for support, fun and community.

Tim Vincent, Commercial Director at Kuda commented ‘At Kuda we are committed to helping provide the best opportunities possible. The Mix stand out to us as a local organisation that help young people in Suffolk achieve their full potential for a brighter future with help and guidance from youth workers and volunteers. At Kuda, most of our staff have their own children, so knowing this help and support is available for them, or their friends, if in need, gives us great contentment. Suffolk are very fortunate to have such a convenient centre on their doorstep, which offers so much to our community and society. By supporting The Mix, we hope we can help improve the facilities for the charity, to ensure they can provide a happy environment for young people to grow and blossom. We look forward to seeing this partnership develop overtime with potential work placements with our own team and see even more incredible work by the team at The Mix.’

Sam Petersen, Youth Work Director at The Mix commented ‘At The Mix, we see a future in which every young person from any background can thrive and grow to become their best selves. We believe a significant part of that is ensuring that young people have access to a wealth of enriching activities and supportive adults within their community. On behalf of all of our team and the many young people who benefit from The Mix, we are immensely grateful to Kuda for their partnership and generosity. We simply could not do what we do without the investment of local companies like Kuda and are excited to see how the partnership will develop over time.'
